nsn medical ag («NSN»), a leading private Swiss healthcare provider with various activities across Switzerland, together with two private shareholders sold all their shares in AVANTI, Centro Ticinese di chirurgia ambulatoriale SA («Avanti») to Vista Klinik Holding AG («Vista»).

Avanti was founded in 2007 by Dr. med. Artaria, Dr. med. Pedroli and NSN. Together with its affiliated physicians, they have developed Avanti into the leading private ophthalmological center for outpatient surgery in the Canton of Ticino.

As part of the succession planning for Dr. med. Artaria and Dr. med. Pedroli, the shareholders of Avanti were looking for a strong strategic partner who could continue the legacy of the two ophthalmologists. Vista, one of the leading ophthalmological clinic groups in Switzerland, is an optimal long-term succession partner that can ensure the high-quality level of service delivery and contribute to the expansion and further development of medical services in ophthalmology for the population of Ticino.

Wineus Capital, one of Wineus AG’s two divisions, has represented a group of investors in NSN since 2011 and has supported all selling shareholders of Avanti in this transaction.
