The former shareholders and managing directors of Apostroph AG wanted to retire in 2010 and were looking for a succession plan for their company
It was important for the former owners to hand over their life's work to a responsible and professional entrepreneur, who is able to further develop the company and who offers the existing employees an attractive job and sound long-term prospects
Our contribution
Wineus Capital enabled the existing shareholders to find an attractive succession solution through the acquisition of Apostroph AG in 2010
Philipp Meier, the current CEO, was employed as a replacement for the departing managing directors
Development of Apostroph AG into Apostroph Group with the successful acquisition and integration of four further translation service providers
Substantial enhancement of the operating performance through improvement of operational processes and further development of the IT infrastructure
Sale of Apostroph Group to the independent German investment company ECM Equity Capital Management GmbH in 2017
